The "Wentwood" style home name sign plate is a high quality home name sign made to order by Safire in England.
Manufactured from steel plate and finished in a durable painted gloss black finish. The sign includes special hidden fixings which set it off the wall a little for a nice 3d floating style look.

Whilst we sell a few of these home name signs, they are not mass produced. They are made to order by us to your individual requirements. each and every sign is different and custom made to a high standard. They give your home a warm welcoming home name for your guests to see at the entrance to your home. They also make that perfect gift either as a moving in gift, a gift to your partner, a wedding gift etc..
You can have your home name created or even a nice or fun slogan to add as a feature on any wall.

• The standard set price includes up to 8 letters manufactured into a single word with options to add more letters based on a per letter or number cost
• The standard material is 3mm thick steel plate with an option to upgrade to a thicker 5mm steel plate to give the sign a chunkier look / feel which does really looks nice.
• the standard price is for one word joint together as a one piece sign in the script font, with options to have split words for multi word home names

How do you purchase your sign?

• type your home name exactly as you would like it spelt or set out if you have multiple words / numbers into the text box provided. We will use a capitol letter at the start of each word the rest wil be lower case.
• Count the letters / numbers to work out the total amount and then choose which option you are purchasing based on the amount of letters and also select the options for any word splits you would like
• Choose your thickness option, 3mm thick looks great but 5mm gives the sign a bit more depth with it's chunkier look it is also stronger if required.
• then go through the checkout to fill in your details and to pay.

When we receive the order what happens next?

these are made to order so please allow from around 4 to 8 weeks for delivery from receipt of your order, although we will process the sign as fast as possible so you never know it may be quicker but we are generally very busy and the order needs to filter through a system and it also needs manufacturing.

We then create the artwork or your personal sign and email you a proof image / cad sketch showing exactly how it will look for size and proportions.

you need to accept this proof or advise of any issues by return email for us to proceed, note any delays here will add on top of the standard delivery dates mentioned.

once the design is approved we then program the computer for the cutting file and waterjet cut your sign from the steel plate chosen.
Once the sign is waterjet cut from our steel plate we then de-burr it and sand the top and bottom faces. The metal studs / fixings are then welded in place. we then de-grease the sign and apply several coats of paint including an etch primer base, a primer second layer then a couple of coats of gloss black paint. once the paint is dry we then pack it carefully and post to your mainland Uk based address.

Once you receive it there are instructions on how to install your new home name sign.

Some things to consider:

• Sizing
  we use a 150mm high font on the capitol letter but these are made to order and the sizes will change based on your particular sign and spelling and due to the script style there is variations in sizes or letters.
  See the sample proof of the "wentwood" sample above, the extreme height of the scrolled "W" is approximately 171mm and the lower case letters are approximately 62.5mm. The overall width of "wentwood" is approximately 691mm.
  you will see the size of your sign when we send you a proof but You need to make sure you have room for the sign, if it needs a custom size we can accommodate but it will add to cost if it is not standard as it will need setting up specially. we will advise of any cost implications should they arise from a non standard sign.
• Delivery
  The fixed packing and postage charge is for one UK mainland address only. We are happy to send to other locations or overseas but we will need to work out a price specially so please contact us for more information should this be the case.
• Check your proof!
  check your proof when you get it and email us the acceptance, from this point there is no returns or refunds as the sign is made to order into your personal sign
