We were given the components above and were asked to put them together to be used to raise and lower a keel on a yacht.

We needed to machine the bigger socket so it could press fit into the smaller socket making it a perfect centralized fit

The bigger socket above is the machined socket prior to press fitting and below the two parts have been press fit together with a perfect fit
