Safire Design Engineers got involved in this project as our client wanted a precision job. A previous system was installed by another company costing many 10’s of thousands of pounds but within a short period of time the system started leaking and shutting down the systems. Our client, who project managed the job, called us in and we made a system to support their special manhole covers that would align the new system to within a couple of mm over 20 mtrs. The positions and levels were critical.
