heritage&renovation - case study 2
16th centry elizibethan chest conversion

We were asked by our client, St Mary’s church, who had this 16th century Elizabethan chest stored in a vault. They wanted to make use of it so asked if we could tidy it up and convert it into a collection box that could stand in their foyer. It had to be done in a way that didn’t damaged the chest at all. It had to be very heavy so it couldn’t be moved. They had to ask permission of English heritage and they had to get it insured whilst it was at our premises.
