We have made a few tables and table bases. Sometimes we get commissioned to create sculptured table bases! Shown here is a coffee table based on an organic Tulip design. My client came to me with a very rough side elevation sketch of a tulip design to support a glass surface. Above shows the table base in a natural steel state which looks good in it's self. Below shows the table base finished. After finishing the metal work, it was primed with red oxide then painted with a green finish coat, then coated with a gold leaf. This was then cracked to revel some of the green As you can see below on the left it looks great in it's surrounding area.
