



This project was to make four exhaust ports
fit into one. I was given an old exhaust system from another car and the
new exhaust to fit on the outside. The car was left on it's trailer for
the day and I cut and joined new sections and old sections to fit in all
the tight spaces. I machined a joining spigot to join the new exhaust to
it.
You can see the tight spaces in the two pictures below left, the finished
assembly in the picture below right and the new exhaust mounted on the car
in the picture on the left.
It was possible to make the whole exhaust from complete tubes with minimal
joins but this would of cost a lot more due to tooling etc.. My client was
quite happy to save some money and have it made in this way.
