Pictured above are the lift off door hinges, hand made from Stainless Steel, Lee had them made from steel previously and had them chromed, but after some time they needed re-chroming as they rusted. The answer was to make them from stainless steel. The same problem was with the lift off bonnet hinges Pictured below right, These were also replaced with stainless steel.
In the two pictures below left you can see the modification to the front panel where the lights and radiator fit. This had to move forward 25mm to fit all the bits in the engine bay,
I made a sub frame from box section steel then mounted new front plates to this, then welded this to the existing panel.
