This was a full sized prototype of a low voltage halogen light for Damian Hurst’s restaurant “The Pharmacy”. We had to make the stainless steel fitting hinged so it would clasp the chemical flask but when cleaning or changing lamps it would make removing the flask a lot easier.

This is a design for a lampshade holder that
clips directly to the light bulb, made from spring
wire to keep its shape. It had to have just the
right tension. Too stiff and it could shatter the
bulb, too loose and it wouldn’t grip properly, As you can see the original design drawings were well set out and very clear.

A combination digging tool for a Third World project.
Pictured on the left is the original pick and spade supplied by my client to be converted into one, creating their unique design shown on the right.
This design is for a ladder based seat/working platform for a cabling company. The brief was to have an overhanging platform from which a worker could sit in front of a wall mounted termination box for long periods of time. It had to be able to be set at various heights and accessed like a ladder from the rear, This working model was produced for my client.

We get involved with a variety of designers and inventors unfortunately we can’t display many pictures as we have signed agreements and contracts to not discuss them in any way!
Take a look below to see a few. And feel free to challenge us with your own design or invention.
We would be happy to look at working with you on your project
